DON'S BIO

Don Weigand's life-long love of dogs and interest in dog psychology resulted in his becoming a professional dog walker in July of 2006. After learning the ropes at a professional walking/boarding service and performing over 2000 in-home visits for all kinds of dogs, Don ventured out on his own in August of 2007.

Don's reputation for high-quality personalized service, a flexible schedule, an easy-going attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile resulted in his quickly aquiring a dedicated group of clients who have been overwhelmingly enthusiastic about his services. Don is extremely positive about the future of WALK THIS WAY. In April of 2008 he incorporated and expanded his services to include not only Oak Park, but River Forest, Forest Park, Riverside, Brookfield, Lyons, and LaGrange as well.

In his free time (what little there is) Don is a freelance graphic designer who has designed book jackets, CD art, movie, event, and show posters for hundreds of authors, politicians, venues and musicians such as They Might Be Giants, Martin Atkins, Ralph Nader, Ralph Covert (Ralph's World), Borders Books and Music, House of Blues, and many more.
